Ghosts of Glen Park
January 29th, 2013 Posted in UncategorizedSince I find myself riding BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) a lot getting into and out of San Francisco, I’m always on the lookout for through-my-window photo possibilities.
Over the years I have taken my share of urban landscape photos. But over that same period I’ve also made a handful of images involving reflections of people inside the train superimposed with what’s happening on the train platform. If the lighting is just right, and you’re properly lined up, you can make some interesting photographs. For me they conjure up apparitions of specters and spirits; very ethereal and dream-like.
