Vladimir and his Leica M2 cameras out on Market Street

I was out early this morning and ran into my friend and fellow photographer Vladimir out on Market Street. As always, he had two out of his harem of eight (or it might be nine, now) Leica M2 cameras. He has chemically de-chromed and de-lugged them all, and has added custom wood grips to support the way he likes to shoot.  All of his M2s have names. Today’s outing was with Mickey the Wizard and Tinker Bell.

I’ve written quite a lot about Vlad and his cameras over the years.  Click the tag “Vlad” below to view some of my blog posts about him.

I haven’t seen Vlad in awhile either. He’s wearing a new beanie I see :)

Damn! He looks a lot older than he did 20 years ago, he might have to compromise some of his amorous ambitions, but he always thought that stuff takes too much time away from his Leica Harem. Keeping them all exercised and happy is about all he can handle………………….
