Just fresh and clean…
August 13th, 2008 Posted in UncategorizedOwen has been a downtown San Francisco fixture for almost 30 years. Originally from Belize, five days a week he’s at the corner of Powell and Market streets. The other two days he’s at 14th and Broadway in Oakland. At both places he engages people walking by praising the virtues of abstinence outside of marriage. Incredibly nice and friendly, I’ve been snapping Owen for around five years. It’s great watching people walk by, curious, but not sure they should get too close!

I love talking to Owen. He’s such a character. He mentioned to me that he used to be in downtown LA as well. Have you ever talked to Jose? He’s the Jesus Christ Loves You guy.

I’ve seen the Jesus guy a lot. Never talked to him or knew his name.
I’ve talked to Owen a lot. And gave him some pix I’ve snapped of him. He’s a lot of fun to BS with.
